MPI’S PREACHING MENTORSHIP
The McPherson Preaching Institute Mentorship Program is a unique, six-week program where five aspiring preachers are paired with seasoned senior pastors from across the nation, offering a transformational experience in preaching, mentorship, and local church leadership.
The program culminates in a powerful moment of ministry as each aspiring preacher is invited to preach during a Sunday service at their mentor’s church. These opportunities allowed young leaders not only to exercise their preaching gifts but also to engage directly with congregations and receive valuable feedback from both mentors and church members.
The McPherson Preaching Institute Mentorship Program was launched as part of Life Pacific University’s ongoing efforts to elevate the next generation of preachers and communicators in the Foursquare Church and beyond.
CREATING A PREACHING COMMUNITY THAT IS INTERGENERATIONAL, INTERCULTURAL, & COLLABORATIVE
“The McPherson Preaching Institute has created a rare and beautiful opportunity—elevating young preachers into spaces that are often gatekept for ‘seasoned voices.’ As a pastor and mentor, it’s been an honor to help students hone their craft, grow in theological clarity, and preach the good news of Jesus to a diverse, multigenerational church with boldness, humility, and pastoral imagination.”
